South Yorkshire bookseller expands with 30,000 sq ft move to Grange Mill Lane

The company is beginning to shape its delivery strategy for works across AMP9 and AMP10 and is inviting contractors, consultants, and suppliers to help inform the procurement model for the proposed 10-year framework.

The consultation focuses on an early version of the Spatial Development Framework, which has been prepared by the region’s five local authorities to help coordinate land use, regeneration, and transport planning as the transport programme progresses.

Subject to approval, the regeneration and development company will deliver a 30,700 sq ft last-mile parcel and postal distribution facility at the South Yorkshire site, with completion expected towards the end of 2027.

Gleeson has transferred the properties to housing association Home Group at the Waterloo Sidings development in Halton Moor, marking a milestone in the delivery of a 147-property scheme.

The affordable properties will be on the former Kingsdale Court flats site in Seacroft following the demolition of the long-vacant housing complex.
