The dust is beginning to settle after last week’s local elections reshaped the political map across eight parts of Yorkshire, with attention now turning to who will run the councils in the towns and cities that lost their Labour majority. 

The housebuilder is gathering public opinion ahead of submitting an outline application for up to 593 homes on land off Hudson Way. 

Developed by Brough-based Yorkare and constructed by Hobson & Porter, the 60-bed, three-storey building is located off Shipton Road, two miles from the city centre.

Harron Homes is looking to build 60 homes on land at the former Prince of Wales Colliery, in a scheme designed by JRP and supported by ID Planning.
