Persimmon’s Elloughton homes to be considered

Plans for 172 houses, submitted in 2022, have finally made it onto East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s docket, and are expected to be discussed at an upcoming meeting.

PRA Architecture designed the homes on behalf of Charles Church, one of Persimmon’s brands.

BSG Ecology and PB Planning are also part of the design team.

Comprising a mix of one-, two-, three-, and four-bed homes, plans include open space and associated landscaping.

The 14 acre site is on arable land south of Welton Low Road, in the village north of Brough.

A large number of complaints have been lodged by residents, who predominantly seem wary of overcrowding.

The planning application reference is 22/03861/STPLF.
