The Client & Opportunity

A highly respected National Real Estate Consultancy that is highly renowned for specialising in Business Rates is looking to appoint an MRICS/IRRV Qualified Rating Surveyor to join its’ national team, based out of York.

We are looking for a highly motivated and driven professional who ideally possess a detailed understanding of Billing Authority processes and procedures and Rating Statute and Legislation.

The successful candidate will be a team player who is commercially astute with good business skills and will have a background in surveying.

The role shall be based out of York, based on the following overview,

• Newly Qualified MRICS Surveyor
• Someone seeking to develop a career in Rating
• Specialist Valuation – Receipts and Expenditure & Contractors
• Working with experienced and recognised experts in the aviation and renewables sectors
• Property types – Airports, Airfields, Anaerobic digestion plants, Solar, Wind turbines, Battery Storage and other specialist category property
• Possibly someone with a Valuation Office Agency background, but not essential
• Opportunity for a significant increase in salary over the next 2-3 years

Remuneration

You’ll be rewarded with an industry competitive salary and benefits including but not limited to:

• Basic Salary from £40,000 to circa £50,000+ per annum (potentially more, depending upon experience)
