Hillview racks up Lawnswood hat-trick
Three companies, headed by fuel card provider Radius, have agreed lettings at the Leeds business park.
Lawnswood Business Park is 15 minutes north of Leeds city centre, and amounts to 150,000 sq ft of office space across eight buildings. JLL and WSB are joint agents for landlord Hillview Real Estate.
Radius has taken a 4,903 sq ft suite on the first floor of Lawnswood House on a five-year lease. Founded in 1990, the business’ fuel cards are accepted at more than 7,200 sites across the UK, including by major brands such as Tesco and Sainsbury’s.
Global chemical distributor Brenntag, which operates more than 600 sites across 72 countries, has agreed a deal to lease 4,402 sq ft on the ground floor of the same building, expanding its existing presence at the park.
Alongside this, Conveyancing Home has also increased the amount of space it occupies at the park, taking a further 1,338 sq ft at Mayesbrook House.
The Lawnswood House deals follow a refurbishment project, with 37,765 sq ft of offices across four floors modernised and made more energy-efficient.
Christabelle Day, surveyor at JLL, said: “Past years have seen demand for high quality office space increase in the region, and the continued uptake of space at Lawnswood Business Park indicates that this trend is only set to persist.’
“Lawnswood Business Park is continuing to cement a position as one of the most exciting locations for businesses to set up shop, and spaces such as the newly refurbished Lawnswood House will be integral in ensuring that there is sufficient infrastructure to allow businesses to thrive.”
Dom Ketteringham, asset manager at Hillview Real Estate, said: “It’s no surprise to see space at the park continue to get snapped up by ambitious businesses. We look forward to continuing to work with JLL and WSB moving forward to meet the evolving needs of the region’s businesses.”
