Beauty brand locates to Meadowhall
Sephora is taking 3,400 sq ft at Sheffield’s landmark shopping centre, its first Yorkshire and ninth UK store.
This opening follows the brand’s recent arrival at Newcastle’s Eldon Square last September.
The new store will be located on the High Street of the upper level of the centre, which has more than 290 stores and 50 places to eat and drink.
Sephora also has stores in Westfield London, Westfield Stratford City, Manchester’s Trafford Centre, Newcastle’s Eldon Square, Gateshead’s Metrocentre, Birmingham Bullring, and Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent, and will open one in Liverpool this spring.
Darren Pearce, centre director at Meadowhall, said: “The iconic beauty brand has taken the UK by storm and being one of the
first places Sephora has chosen for a store is fantastic.”
Sarah Boyd, managing director, Sephora UK said: “We are thrilled to continue our exciting UK expansion plans with the opening our first store in Yorkshire at Meadowhall in Sheffield.
“We spent the last year refining our incredible in-store experiences as we rolled out our first batch of regional stores, highlighting our dedication and commitment to being inclusive, accessible, and connected to the communities we serve.
“Meadowhall is the perfect location for us to continue driving that experience in this dynamic, thriving region, and our team is eager to welcome customers to our beauty playground.”
