Adderstone Living opens Leeds office
The North East-based affordable house builder has cemented its expansion into Yorkshire with its Carrwood Park location.
Situated on the outskirts of Leeds, the new office comes on the back of the housebuilder’s ambitions to drive growth and provide land-led solutions for social housing providers.
With customers including Karbon Homes, the office opening comes as the government continues to push the need for more affordable housing and looks to capitalise on that opportunity.
The office will be led by Rick Long, who was appointed last October and has more than 30 years of experience in the residential sector, including senior roles at Tilia Homes, Kier Living in Leeds, Keepmoat, Bovis, and most recently the Urban Group in York.
Long said: “Adderstone has seen strong growth as demand for our services has soared. So it’s part of our business strategy to develop a permanent presence in Leeds and we saw that the time was now right for new investment to support the next phase.
“We are experiencing strong growth across core markets with a healthy order book and our new office strengthens our delivery capability.
“It’s a really exciting time for us and our team as we will be working closely with all our stakeholders to ensure we continue to deliver for our customers.”
